Cool

Today I cemented my belief that triangular sandwiches taste much nicer than rectangular ones. I also discovered I can touch my nose with the tip of my tongue.

Marco Polo and me.

Something Beautiful

I wanted to share something that I think is truy beautiful. Look how peaceful and tranquil that place is. I want to be standing against that wall with the dappled sunlight dancing on my cheeks and eyelids. I wonder at the lives of the people who live behind those walls. Do they know they live in a place that looks like Heaven?
If you look at the picture closely, the shadows of the leaves look like a trillion little butterflies and dragonflies.
Tis magical.

Retrograde narcissism is totally where it's at

There are so many blogs out there, and have always believed them to be narcissistic and self-involved. Which, of course, they are. But tonight I thought I'd join the masses.

In 1 Peter 1:8, we are told: "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:" "Joy unspeakable". I really think that's one of the most beautiful phrases I've ever heard. It's saying that despite not seeing Jesus in the flesh, not yet, if we believe and have faith, if we are filled with rejoicing and amazement at His glory, and we will feel joy unspeakable.

I don't feel that joy, really... sometimes I wonder if that means I don't have enough faith.
